Concert and football (soccer) game

October 29, 2011 at 6:51 pm (Uncategorized)

I went to a concert with my host mother’s daughter, Joana.  We saw Karen Mukupa, a Danish hip-hop/reggae artist, in

I also went to a Football Club soccer game with my buddy network.  Though I’m not a soccer fan, the game was fun plus we got free Danish sausages.

Scotland: Hills, Rainbows, and Ponds

October 17, 2011 at 8:28 pm (Uncategorized)

On the second day in Edinburgh, we had golf lessons.  I was pretty good at putting but not that great at the distance drivers.  The Wii hasn’t taught me anything, lol.

After the golf lessons, some classmates and I went for a walk and came across this pond filled with beautiful swans.

Did I mention we saw a rainbow.

EDINBUGRH, SCOTLAND

October 17, 2011 at 6:28 pm (Uncategorized)

I spent an amazing week in Scotland from October 2-7.  After two flights, from Copenhagen then to Stockholm (Sweden) then from Stockholm to Edinburgh, my Scottish adventure began.

After checking intot the hotel and grabbing a quick lunch from Subway, my class and I visited Edinburgh Castle.  The castle is on a huge hill so I got a great view of the city from inside.
